The Sarto Glass Vase is an extremely heavy work of art that is hard-won by glass-blowers because the thickness of the glass makes it challenging for the lungs. The multicolored vase can only be accomplished when two glass artisans work in concert: as the glass blower is slowly creating the shape of the vase, the other artisan is "painting" textural swirls onto its surface. As he or she does so, the glass increases in thickness. The duo must work quickly in order to be successful with this incredible profile and its color palette, each of which will be unique.
